One of the biggest blessings we, as Christian, receive is the knowledge of a holy God who is bigger than anything we could ever imagine. It’s unfathomable to understand His vastness, power and character fully. And yet, it’s on display every day.
“For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.” — Romans 1:19-20a
Not only that but God makes it personal to us. He personally invites us to depend and rely on His greatness. He delights in redemption and He delights in healing people. This is why I enjoyed what Shannon Guerin wrote in her post, My God is Bigger and I Can Prove It. She encourages us with the knowledge that God is bigger than any of the situations in our small little world. We can trust Him because He is trustworthy.
He will carry you the whole way. When it’s rocky, He’s there. When it’s steep, He’s there. And when you finally reach the top, the view will be amazing. You can’t see the view if you don’t go through the rocky, winding road!”
I think you will enjoy this post from Shannon!
