When was the last time you stood astounded by God? What were you doing when He grabbed your attention and caused you to pause in awe? Wonder is something we lose sight of as we get older and I absolutely enjoy those moments when nothing but praise cascades from my heart. I especially love it when it’s brought on by the simplest or most basic things.
Betsy from Faith Spilling Over wrote a post called Waking Up to the Awesome Wonder of God where she eloquently communicates her desire for a heart posture of deep worship of God. Her post is refreshing and encouraging, she does a fantastic job of reminding us to be in awe of the Lord God Almighty!
Many of us aren’t really looking for wonder. We grow accustomed to daily rhythms. We show up to work at 8:30 until it’s time to go home and get dinner on the table. At night we help the kids with homework and watch a little TV. We settle into ho-hum routines without thinking about wonder.“
Are you struggling with having peace? I hope you are encouraged to trust God through reading this post from Betsy!
