I’ve made homemade guacamole for a while but I never use the same recipe. Most of the time the kids don’t eat it because they don’t like something about it – usually the onions, or perhaps the texture. However the other week, I actually just made up my own recipe and both kids devoured it! I was pretty surprised. Paul also said it was the best he thinks he’s ever had. I honestly don’t know why because I left a lot of things out, it was utterly simple but a huge hit in our family!
Avocados (2 ripe)
Roma Tomatoes (2-3 small, diced)
Onion Powder (1/2 tsp)
Lemon Juice (1 tsp)
Cilantro (fresh, diced)
- Mash avocados, dice tomatoes & chop fresh cilantro.
- Throw all ingredients in a food processor, puree.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
I wanted to be sure to write it down now that I’ve found one that my whole family raves about!
