This is a recipe from our eMeals menu last week. It was delicious, except Claire apparently doesn’t like onions so we scraped them off of hers.
1 stick butter
2 tbsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. sweet onion, finely diced
6 large subs OR 24 small rolls
1 lb deli ham, thinly sliced
8 oz sliced swiss cheese
- Combine butter, mustard and Worcestershire sauce in small saucepan. Heat at medium temperature; add onions. Cook 5 mins, stirring well.
- Spread sauce on inside of sliced rolls. Layer ham & swiss on rolls.
- Wrap rolls in foil; heat at 350° for 8 minutes, or until heated through.
We served these with fruit and chips for an easy, light meal. We also ate these by candlelight because I had forgotten to do that for the meal the previous night which was kind of fancy. Claire really wanted to eat with the lights off so we decided to do with this meal, it was so fun!!
