This past year or more has been tough for me as I’m finding it increasingly hard to balance preparing for Israel and continuing to make sure I’m not “quitting” here yet. As Israel approaches, I am fighting against “checking out”. I want to make sure my friends still know they are incredibly important to me, and put them as a priority in my life. Yet at the same time, prepping as much as I can to leave the country and form bonds with my team, since they will be the only people I will be with for God knows how long. It’s so difficult! It seems my schedule is getting more cramped and busy, which also leaves me with no “my-time” and THAT is where I get rejuvinated. So, to all of you, my friends, please know that I deeply love you and care for you, even if I don’t get to hang much or have problems keeping in touch on a regular basis. As much as I want to hang out, I will try to do my best to keep connected more. But also on your part – Please don’t forget about me!
Well, I must go now. I’ll write more tomorrow, I have lots of different thoughts floating in my head!
Just remember Holly, there will always be “Ambassdor to Israel” waiting for you back here. 🙂
Thanks for the comment on mine today. Totally know the while “floating thoughts in the head” thing. Late!
How could anyone forget about you?!!!! Never. Love, Brea
