I started using eMeals when I came across a Groupon for 1/2 off a yearly subscription and I must say, it was a very good decision. Menu planning and grocery shopping has gotten so much easier! Previously, I would be putting together a menu, grocery list and combing through coupons or price-matching for about 2 hours every week. Then I decided to start menu planning for 6 weeks at a time, which saved a little time but not much. Since having Iain, I’ve virtually “flew by the seat of my pants”, especially when I was on the MSPI diet – it was so stressful. I just don’t have the time to do all that, and many of my friends use eMeals so I looked into it. A yearly subscription runs about $58 I think, and I didn’t want to pay that for a service that I didn’t know if I’d like or use. However, Groupon was running a Daily Deal for 1/2 off the subscription fee so I thought I’d go ahead and give it a try. It is amazing!!
We have enjoyed most of the meals that I’ve made and I am thoroughly impressed and grateful for the time it saves me every week. This is probably our favorite meal thus far from this week’s menu:
1+ lbs boneless pork loin chops
10 oz can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. sour cream
1 pkt savory herb & garlic seasoning mix (Lipton)
- In Crock Pot, mix soup, sour cream & seasoning mix.
- Place pork chops on top of mixture.
- Cook on LOW 6-8 hrs.
- Spoon chops & gravy over steamed rice (we had long grain & wild rice & served green beans with it).
